Vege Gardening 101 - Sunday 18th May 9am - 12pm
This workshop will provide you with the fundamental building blocks to grow a great vegetable garden without the need for chemicals. We cover off many key areas of gardening from setting up your garden beds, different types of set ups, maintaining the health of your soil and some of the key principals to help keep a continual supply. This is the backbone knowledge that helps tie everything together into a complete ‘system’ or way of gardening and you’ll walk away knowing not just what you need to do with your garden but why and how.
The workshop is suitable for all levels of gardening but can be particularly helpful if you are new to gardening, or don’t have a clear approach of how to manage your garden as a whole.
Workshop includes:
Multiple bed set up options to best suit your situation
Growing healthy plants without chemicals
Basic soil health
What to plant when
When to direct sow vs when to transplant
How to keep an ongoing supply
Basic infrastructure & tools - needs vs nice to haves
Morning tea to keep you fuelled
Workshop length is 3 hours.
TERMS & CONDITIONS:
Workshops need a minimum of 4 people to run. In the case minimum numbers aren't met you will receive a full refund or the option to join a different date.
The workshop will go ahead rain or shine - we do have an indoor classroom option.
Unfortunately we cannot offer refunds if you choose to cancel. If you are unable to attend the workshop, you are permitted to transfer the ticket to someone else’s name.
In the event that The Commune has to cancel the workshop due to unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a full refund.
